cancellation / late arrival policies

Policies

When you schedule your appointment, you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to our cancellation and late arrival policies. By booking an appointment clients are also acknowledging that they are responsible for payment of their appointment.

Arrival Time

It is recommended that people plan to arrive 10-15 min before the appointment.

Late Arrivals

Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot be extended beyond the stated time that your appointment would normally end to accommodate late arrivals. Please be aware that late arrivals will still be responsible for the full payment for the appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments must be cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment, unless there is an emergency*. Appointments cancelled in less than 48 hours will be charged the full amount of the session, and must pay this before booking their next appointment.

*Liminal Space reserves the right to determine what constitutes an emergency. (Examples being: weather or local emergencies, accidents, serious injury, etc.) Heavy traffic is not considered an emergency, and due to frequent heavy local traffic, we recommend that you give yourself plenty of travel time.

Sickness

Massage and bodywork, or other types of appointments we offer are not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. You should never knowingly come to an appointment sick and/or with a fever. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of any infectious or contagious condition.

For those that have tested positive or had COVID, RSV or Influenza (flu) or for those that have been in contact with those who have tested positive or had COVID, RSV or Influenza (flu) we ask that you not attend your appointment.   In those cases, if cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance, the appointment fee will be waived.

If you have had COVID, RSV or Influenza (flu) we request that you do not rebook until at least 1 week after symptoms have resolved.

Vaccinations & Masking

We reserve the right at any time to require masking and/or current vaccinations of both our clients and therapists if we deem it is in the best interest of everyone. We also will follow all local, state, and federal mandates regarding health-related issues.
